Open mic night at the Avila house

I'm not sure what this thing is that I'm holding, but
Mom and Dad feed some yummy, and not so yummy stuff
with it. Strained carrots, not yummy, strained peaches yummy.
Everything I'm eating is the stage 1 food. So to recap food, stage one,
diapers, stage 3 (yes, I'm that big at 5 months), and lip syncing abillities
with this whatchamacallit in my hand, stage infinity. I'm that good people.

No matter how cool it is to sing Johnny Cash's Burning
Ring of Fire with that thing above, it's way cool to have my
old faithful bottle. Also, it helps to have my furry sidekick Stevie
with me. What a good kitty!

The return of silly hats

Crykee! Look at that sheila cat. She's a beaut aint she?
Ok, so you can't see the cat that I was looking at, but
it was Rooney. More importantly though, I look silly
in this hat, hence the silly Croc Hunter bit.

Skate or die man!!

Bouncing Baby Boy

Here I'm bouncing away in my, ah well bouncer. Dad put
some RedBull in my bottle, because I was bouncing for a
half hour like this! I'm also starting to learn to roll over. My
parents call them tricks, I just call them skillz, that's right
skillz with a z.

Second Trip to SF

So, mom, dad, and myself went to San Francisco for
Aunt Mallory's birthday. We went to the Cliffhouse
for dinner. The night before, I was in my first
earthquake. That's how I got my little crack! Haha!
Ok, dad I told you that was a lame joke!

Here I am in yet another picture. You would think
these people were the Ansel Adams of baby shots. As you
can see I am super excited to be in this one. At least the
view was beautiful!

Who spiked the milk?

So I went out to dinner with mom and dad the other day.
I was having a good time, eating with mom and dad. Then
I started having a funny feeling.

The room started spinning and everything I looked at
became blurry. I couldn't hold my bottle up, let alone
my head.

Then finally I couldn't take it any more and I was done, done!
I couldn't even function, I just passed out and slept it off. I tell ya, I
couldn't drive after that, so I passed the keys to mom and dad and
enjoyed the buzz. Ok, I gotta go, it's noon somewhere and I need a
rum and milk.

Check out my awesomeness!

So yesterday you saw some of my new tricks, here's
a couple of more that I can do. I'm eating some
semi solid foods now. I chow down on pureed peaches,
sweet potatoes, and apples. I also eat rice cereal.
I'm wonder if they have pureed steak. Even if they didn't
I would still gum one down. Yum!!

Also, the Tanman can now stand
from a seated position, with a little help from mom of course
but it's still really awesome, because I'm awesome.
So awesome in fact that I refer to myself in the
third person. I can't roll over yet,
but I'm getting there!

Some new tricks!

Ok, so I've heard through the grapevine that some people
are sadden by my lack of posting. Well tell me, would you
want to wake this up? Look how comfortable and cute I
look (Insert your "awwww", here). Anyways, this trick
isn't new, I was born to sleep, but I'm so darn cute, that
mom and dad love taking my picture while I'm napping.
What weirdos. Just let me sleep in peace!!

This trick is new. I'm starting to learn how to hold a bottle
with my own two hands. Now I know this trick doesn't compare
to my ability to type on this blog or even knowing how to upload
pictures, but it is impressive. I started doing this with Grandma Patti
last week, and I've been practicing everyday since (Insert your "how
cute" here).

Here's another trick that isn't so new, but I'm getting better
at it. I'm able to stand for long periods with the help of
mom and dad. Only the super athletic people can do this!
Wait, what dad? You say most adults and children are able to do this?
By themselves? What a croc, you're just jealous at my
superior athleticism. Ignore that dude ,
go ahead, be amazed!
