Christmas Hijinx

So, I was just sitting around with my feet up chilling, doing some
light reading when I decided to sneak over and check out
my presents under the Christmas Tree.

I was almost done opening my first present, when mom
caught me. Awwwww, nuts!
Oh well, my devious plans were foiled again. I guess
mom's getting coal from me!

Lunch with Grandma!

The other day Grandma came over to babysit and she
fed me my lunch! She makes awesome airplane
noises when she feeds me!

Here I am taking a big bite of some Apple/Blueberry concoction
mixed with some oatmeal. So good I ate every bite!

This is a lot more fun than when Mom and Dad feed me.
OK, maybe not a lot, but it's still fun!

Gotta go, time to eat some more! YUM!

A Thanksgiving Treat

So on Thanksgiving, my parents finally decided to give me
my first haircut. I had a worse comb over than Donald Trump.
Here is mommy taking the first hack at my hair. I kept
moving around , so my parents put on some Barney and gave
me the remote to play with. A regular Super Cuts for Babies! So here I am after my haircut, which my parents
did while I was sitting in the roasting pan. I then
tried to baste myself with the spoon.

It tastes kind of funny, I think it needs more salt.
Take me out, I'm beginning to feel like a Thanksgiving
Turkey in here!

Even more silly hats

Shhhhhhh...be vwery, vwery, quiet. I'm hunting wabbits.

Yep, that was me. I farted.
Nice hat, eh comrades? Now where's the Turkey?

A pre-photo

Here I was on Sat. getting ready to get my
picture taken. Yes, that's right, pictures of me
going to get my picture taken. What freakn' planet
are these people from? Does these freaks ever
do anything normal. Oh well, it gave a chance
to practice for my shoot.

Happy Halloween!

So I finally got to wear my Halloween costume. I was a
Libay. Half lion, Half baby with mystical and magical powers. Here I am
with grandpa hanging out. I was helping mom and dad pass out candy
to those little beggars who kept coming to our door. What a weird
holdiay.

As you can see grandpa and I were having a ton of fun. That
and I'm on a sugar rush!

I know, don't say it, ok go ahead, awwwwwwww, how cute.

Good night everybody! Kisses for you! You're all
Grrrrrreaaaat! What dad? Oh that's Tony the Tiger,
not Tanner the Lion. My bad.

Captain Tanner

So my dad thought it would be funny to pose me
as Captain Morgan dude on the rum bottle.
Arrrrrgubably the worst idea since staring JT O'Sullivan
at QB. I thought it was funny because
I knew that the arrrthorities would be by shortly to
send my parents away. So now that they're out of the way
party at my crib. I got a little Captain in me, do you? Arrrrrggggg.

Chilln' with more silly hats

Ummm, somebody better start pushing before
I get out and push myself!

So I got another silly hat. Dad says it was a hooter hider
since it's an owl that's hiding my head. I even got matching socks.
Wow, I'm so excited, just look at my face.

Boo's and Bottles

I don't know what's up with parents obsession to
take my picture while I'm sleeping, but apparently I'm cute.
I get more pictures taken of me than Brangelyna by the
Paparazzi. I'm getting better at holding the bottle as you
can see, I can almost drink it by myself.

I got this shirt from one of the teachers from moms
school. It would be even cooler if they put
pants on me. It's a picture of a ghost
that says Don't Lie About the Candy! Ok seriously,
please put some pants on me, the turn of the
Century called, and it wants their night
shirt back.

Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Me

Mom was feeding me some peaches for dinner, man were those
things tart! They thought it would be funny to keep
feeding them to me. Weirdos!

The Return of the Bear Hat

Hey guys, I know I've been away for awhile. I've learned
some new stuff, like sitting up by myself. I can sit for
for a little bit before I fall, but I'm getting better!

Here I am wearing my infamous bear hat. Dad still
doesn't like it much, but it's growing on me. I get tons
of awwwww's when I wear it. I think I look pretty hot! Also, mom and dad taught me to say my prayers
before I got to sleep. Sometimes I'm so tired, I fall
asleep during my prayer time. I know, aren't I cute!

Open mic night at the Avila house

I'm not sure what this thing is that I'm holding, but
Mom and Dad feed some yummy, and not so yummy stuff
with it. Strained carrots, not yummy, strained peaches yummy.
Everything I'm eating is the stage 1 food. So to recap food, stage one,
diapers, stage 3 (yes, I'm that big at 5 months), and lip syncing abillities
with this whatchamacallit in my hand, stage infinity. I'm that good people.

No matter how cool it is to sing Johnny Cash's Burning
Ring of Fire with that thing above, it's way cool to have my
old faithful bottle. Also, it helps to have my furry sidekick Stevie
with me. What a good kitty!

The return of silly hats

Crykee! Look at that sheila cat. She's a beaut aint she?
Ok, so you can't see the cat that I was looking at, but
it was Rooney. More importantly though, I look silly
in this hat, hence the silly Croc Hunter bit.

Skate or die man!!

Bouncing Baby Boy

Here I'm bouncing away in my, ah well bouncer. Dad put
some RedBull in my bottle, because I was bouncing for a
half hour like this! I'm also starting to learn to roll over. My
parents call them tricks, I just call them skillz, that's right
skillz with a z.

Second Trip to SF

So, mom, dad, and myself went to San Francisco for
Aunt Mallory's birthday. We went to the Cliffhouse
for dinner. The night before, I was in my first
earthquake. That's how I got my little crack! Haha!
Ok, dad I told you that was a lame joke!

Here I am in yet another picture. You would think
these people were the Ansel Adams of baby shots. As you
can see I am super excited to be in this one. At least the
view was beautiful!

Who spiked the milk?

So I went out to dinner with mom and dad the other day.
I was having a good time, eating with mom and dad. Then
I started having a funny feeling.

The room started spinning and everything I looked at
became blurry. I couldn't hold my bottle up, let alone
my head.

Then finally I couldn't take it any more and I was done, done!
I couldn't even function, I just passed out and slept it off. I tell ya, I
couldn't drive after that, so I passed the keys to mom and dad and
enjoyed the buzz. Ok, I gotta go, it's noon somewhere and I need a
rum and milk.

Check out my awesomeness!

So yesterday you saw some of my new tricks, here's
a couple of more that I can do. I'm eating some
semi solid foods now. I chow down on pureed peaches,
sweet potatoes, and apples. I also eat rice cereal.
I'm wonder if they have pureed steak. Even if they didn't
I would still gum one down. Yum!!

Also, the Tanman can now stand
from a seated position, with a little help from mom of course
but it's still really awesome, because I'm awesome.
So awesome in fact that I refer to myself in the
third person. I can't roll over yet,
but I'm getting there!

Some new tricks!

Ok, so I've heard through the grapevine that some people
are sadden by my lack of posting. Well tell me, would you
want to wake this up? Look how comfortable and cute I
look (Insert your "awwww", here). Anyways, this trick
isn't new, I was born to sleep, but I'm so darn cute, that
mom and dad love taking my picture while I'm napping.
What weirdos. Just let me sleep in peace!!

This trick is new. I'm starting to learn how to hold a bottle
with my own two hands. Now I know this trick doesn't compare
to my ability to type on this blog or even knowing how to upload
pictures, but it is impressive. I started doing this with Grandma Patti
last week, and I've been practicing everyday since (Insert your "how
cute" here).

Here's another trick that isn't so new, but I'm getting better
at it. I'm able to stand for long periods with the help of
mom and dad. Only the super athletic people can do this!
Wait, what dad? You say most adults and children are able to do this?
By themselves? What a croc, you're just jealous at my
superior athleticism. Ignore that dude ,
go ahead, be amazed!

SF Trip for Moms B-day

For mom's birthday this year she wanted to go spend the day
in San Francisco. The trip was really fun, but started out bad.
In all the excitement those geniuses forgot me in the parking
lot. So if anyone feels compelled please call CPS on
these morons. How do you forget your only kid?!?!
Next we all we went walking, well they walked
I got to stay in my stroller and get pushed, around the
Embarcadero. It was a beautiful day around the bay, until
Auntie Mallory and Uncle Schuyler told me that
Alcatraz is for little kids who are bad to mom and dad.
So forget that CPS crack from earlier.
Here I am in my fuzzy fleece sweatshirt. Who wouldn't be
happy after being pushed around all day. It's good to be
the king!
Here's a picture of mom, dad, and me! We're hanging outon the pier before dinner. Well, their dinner, I had just
had dinner myself! On Sunday, before we went home we hung out
at Aunt Mallory and Uncle Schuyler's place. I got
my first chance to play the Wii. However, they all
seemed to forget that I'm a BABY!! I can't even sit up
on my own, let alone play video games! Idiots!
Get me a cell phone, I need to call CPS!

Jumpn Joseph-at!!

As promised, mom and dad got me a jumper. Usually
I hop up and down a lot, but today I was on sensory
overload due to all the colors. Those monkeys at
the crazy baby toy factory really out did themselves. I think
this one was painted by a monkey dropping acid while
watching a Pink Floyd concert. Now get me out of this thing!

Monday, August 11, 2008

Who gave the monkey some paint?

Umm, I'm not sure what you would call this crazy
contraption, but I love sitting in it. Even though
it looks like it was painted by a monkey on a three
day surgar high! Mom and Dad say I can get
a bouncer next! Yeah!

Lions, Tigers, and I'm Bare, Oh my!!

Check out my Halloween costume, for 6-9 month
olds. I'm so big at 3 1/2 months that I fit in it
already. Mom had to take it back and get a bigger one!
Now give me some candy!
Had to throw in another shot of me in my Tigger
outfit. Only did it because otherwise the title
of this blog wouldn't work!. Now give me some
more candy!!
Since I don't have any bear outfits, I decided
to us another picture of me in my birthday suit.
Don't be intimidated, I keep this figure by
eating, sleeping, and lying around all day. It's called the
Central Roseville Baby Diet! Way better than the
South Beach Diet.

Spending time with Family!!

Check out my onsie my favorite Aunt Mallory
made me!!! It is suppose to fit a 6 month old...
and it fits at 3!! Jealous?

Did I mention she has a great sense of humor?

The shamrock fell off my rear, so we stuck it on my
forehead!! We are a silly family!!
I am a lucky little leprechaun!

I am so happy to spend time with my family!!
I will keep growing like a weed, see you soon!!
